Traits of a Narcissist

A narcissist is a person who has an excessive sense of self-importance, an extreme preoccupation with themselves, and a lack of empathy for others. Some of the common traits of a narcissist include:

1. Grandiosity: They have an inflated sense of self-worth and believe they are superior to others.

2. Lack of empathy: They have little to no concern for the feelings or needs of others.

3. Arrogance: They have an attitude of entitlement and often display a condescending or patronizing demeanor.

4. Manipulation: They use others for their own benefit and will go to great lengths to get what they want.

5. Need for admiration: They crave attention and praise from others, often to the point of obsession.

6. Envy: They are envious of others and will often compete or belittle those who they perceive as a threat to their superiority.

7. Lack of accountability: They refuse to take responsibility for their actions and will blame others for their mistakes.

8. Exploitation: They take advantage of others for their own gain, whether it be in personal or professional relationships.

9. Intolerance of criticism: They cannot handle criticism or negative feedback and will often become defensive or lash out in response.

10. Inability to form deep or meaningful relationships: They struggle to form genuine connections with others, as they view them as objects to be used for their own benefit rather than individuals with their own thoughts and feelings.
